Bunless Sandwich with Bacon

A bacon sandwich without the carbs from bread, its a delicious keto recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.5 avocado, mashed
  • 2 bacon slices, cooked
  • 0.25 cup cheddar, shredded
  • Black pepper and salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat place two lids from a mason jar and spray everything with a cooking spray.
  2. Crack the eggs inside, poke the yolks, whisk a bit and season with pepper and salt.
  3. Add water outside the lids and cook covered for 3 minutes.
  4. Remove the cover and sprinkle shredded cheese over one egg, cover the skillet again and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Now invert one egg onto a plate and add the avocado and bacon. Now with the cheesy egg cover the sandwich (the cheese facing downwards.)
  6. Serve and enjoy.
