Garlic Shrimp

This is a very simple recipe, perfect after a long week. Bonus - it fills the house with a heavenly garlic scent.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp golden ghee
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 20 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Pinch red pepper flakes
  • Pinch sea salt
  • Pinch freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp organic Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the ghee over medium – high heat. When it is hot, add the garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. The garlic should not brown.
  2. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in the red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  4. Saute the shrimp until they are cooked through, about 5 minutes more.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and serve.
